Enrollment

UDLC is a home-based daycare facility. We offers full-time preschool throughout the entire year. We enroll a maximum of 8 children through the year. Contact us to schedule a tour, learn more about our program, inquire about current tuition rates, and more.

Currently, we are blessed to have full enrollment at this time.  However, if you would like to put your child on the waiting list, you’re welcome to email your name, your child’s name, child's age and a phone number.

UDLC will only accept tour request when we have an available opening. Once we have our scheduled tour,  we will then go over the contract, schedule, and tuition.

FAQ

  • What are your hours of operation?
    We are open from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. However, you can choose to have 10 hours or less. If you need more than 10 hours there is an additional fee. All fees will be discussed during your tour.
  • What are your procedures to address COVID-19 and making sure all are safe?
    • We will follow guidelines give to me by MSDE • All scholars will have a temperature check daily • Deep cleaning daily • Toys and Items used by both teacher and scholars are cleaning daily • Scholars will wash hands frequently. • No child will be admitted if they have a runny nose, fever and cough • I ask parents to be honest if they were around people that has COVID-19
  • Are you an experienced teacher? How long have you been in business?
    Yes, I have 34+ years of certified teaching experience. I was blessed to have opened my center August 3, 2019.
  • Do you accept Special Needs Students?
    Yes. I do accept special needs students. However, I am not equipped to handle students in a wheelchair.
  • How is parent-teacher communication conducted?
    Parents/guardians may phone the school. Parents/Guardians may also request request a parent/teacher meeting. UDLC has an open door policy and parents/guardians may stop by any time. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, you will have to call ahead and wear a mask.
  • What is your inclement weather policy?
    We adhere to Charles County Public School inclements weather closings.
